Earlier today, Minilife TV announced the winners of their first-ever animation contest, which Sam 'n Bob Brawl was submitted into. The winner of the contest was The Anti-Carrot Ninja, created by Film School Challenge participant Pushover Productions. Well done to Pushover Productions for winning the grand prize and well done to all who participated, even though Sam 'n Bob Brawl did not receive any prizes. "We aren't upset, mainly because our entry was created more to promote the voting for The Second Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. Speaking of the second awards ceremony, voting closes at the end of this month, so if you haven't done so yet, be sure to vote today!
In other news, A Bite of MyJobs is now smooth sailing for its October 18th debut. "Despite some issues we had during its development," said director Andrew Bermudez, "we are certain that we will have a nice film to promote College of the Canyons' CWEE program." All of the voice recording has finished and has been synched to the animation. All that needs to be done now is sound mixing and music composing.
Meanwhile in Brasov, the film crew is working to complete the filming for Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients. Right now, the crew is just about ready to shoot the opening shots for this section of the film. "We've already shot many of the important scenes for this segment, including an action scene revived from the cutting room floor of Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo," said director Steven Lawrence. "Now we are going to film the shots that take place in Brasov itself. We plan on finishing this portion by the end of the month, which isn't a stretch at all."
With all said and done, be sure to get ready for "Ten Years of Going Crazy!," coming this January!
