By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; July 16, 2012)      Today, it's been exactly two years since Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile was released. However, there is no need to reminisce about the past, as we have to look to the future; to August 17th, that is! That's the day Mystery at Shady Acres returns in an all-new form. However, while you wait and we assemble all 88 videos, we'll look back at the play's history and how it will find new life online.      It all started back in 2006, during the Cornerstone Thespian Society's last year. At the time, the group was split into two grade groups: 7th - 9th and 10th -12th (if memory serves correctly). Each group had to pick a play to perform, and this play was for the younger age group. Please note that this does not apply to all of our films. Factors that influence these pre-screenings include popularity (some highly anticipated films, like Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients , will not get this feature), degree of readiness (if it's not ready, it obviously can't be screened prior to its release), and other factors (contest entries with viewing restrictions, like Late fo

All New Ask Mark Matthew!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; July 2, 2012)      Today, we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started! movieguider73 writes:  Hello historylegoman, I am movieguider73, the BIGGEST FAN of your films. Anyway, I am sending this to make a proposal to you. I am currently in Pre-Production on a sequel to my original Johnny Thunder film (it was never released due to never getting finished). Anyway, I need your help to have ideas for the sequel. I want it to take place in Egypt, but it won't be like yours. So what do you say? Do you want to help? :) - movieguider73 Mark:  Unfortunately, because we're all tied up with three films in development, we won't be able to help you directly. However, I can still give you some advice. First off, since this film follows up a film that was never released, why not make this film independent of the other one? By doing that, the film won't be bound to a film that was never
