Studio Updates: Two New Short Films Coming Soon and More.

Halloween is just a month away, and with that, comes another studio update. To start, two new films have been announced. The first will be a mini commercial for the fan choice awards. "We are very surprised how few people are voting for the awards. Therefore, we decided that a commercial to encourage people to vote is important," said Mark Matthew, head of the Lego Studios Board of Directors and Lego Studios CEO. Also, an educational science film will be made. The film, primarily an assignment for school, will use storytelling and humor to teach an undecided aspect of physical science. Both will be released by the end of the year.
In the meantime, the 8th draft of Forest of Fear was sent off to hopeful director Barry Hollows for final approval. This is his response:
Dear Mark Matthew,
I congratulate you on gathering the necessary will power to get your writers to do this revision, for it was certainly worth it. I definitely connect better with the main characters now and understand the movie. Unfortunately, I have already been hired to work on another film by another studio. I am sorry I will not be able to direct the film, but anticipate seeing the final project.

Even though the board of directors is happy that Barry liked the project, they are currently in shambles, trying to find a new director. "Let's hope we don't run into as big a fiasco as we did 3 years ago, when the Studio was sued," said Steven Lawrence, director of the first two Johnny Thunder films.
To make matters worse, relations between Lego Studios and Multimedia Productions for the film Red Jungle have gotten on the rocks. "Some of their executives want to go ahead with the project, but others want to make short films instead," stated relations commissioner Philip Scoop. "We tried to press them to go ahead with Red Jungle, but I personally don't know what they want to do. I'll just have to sit back and see what happens."
As for other studio projects, Forest of Fear will begin filming in the Winter of 2011, with a release that summer. Also, Johnny Thunder 3 is advancing well in the pre-production phase, with a possible, but not likely, release in 2014.
The biggest problem with the awards was you didn't post where to vote. You should probably specify that in the commertial.
ReplyDeleteJust I thought. I wanted to vote, but I couldn't figure out how.

However, to avoid confusion in the future, I will edit the submission rules.
