A New Ninjago Short Film is Coming This August!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; May 22, 2016)      Can you believe it? The summer has only just started, and we've already got another film to announce! The film we're about to announce, however, is a very unconventional one, indeed!      You see, earlier this month, Rebrick announced a new animation contest titled Ninjago: The Greatest Villain of All Time , where participants make a 1-minute film featuring Ninjago villains. After our writing department shuffled through many ideas, we were able to settle on the story we're ready to announce: Ninjago: Visions of Memories !      In addition to this title design, we also have an official description to share! Here's what it says. When Dareth finds the mystical Blade of Recollection, his silly antics accidentally unleash manifestations of Ninjago's most vile villains! With Dareth unable to stop them, it's up to Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, Lloyd, and Nya to stop these visages of the

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; May 15, 2016)      Lately, we've been working on several new projects for all of you to enjoy. Let's see what we have in store!      First, we would like to announce that Between Takes Set Reviews  are being revived and are slated to begin next month! Their release dates are still in flux, but we are moving forward with this prospect! The first set reviews will be part of Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen: Ten Years at the Sail , with more set reviews coming in July and August.      However, later this month, we'll be introducing Backstage Showcase , a new video series where we pull a single prop, art piece, or something else from our archive and discuss its history and design choices. This series will act as a sort-of replacement for the now-defunct Archive Collections series.      Next month, like mentioned in the past, is the tenth anniversary of Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen , and therefore, the m

All New Ask Mark Matthew!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; May 1, 2016)      Today we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started! TLFScarheart writes:  wait...how exactly did steve help [in Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle ]? Great plan but maybe show that? Otherwise great movie! I like the idea of them facing people other than Ogel. Mark:  Basically, the mysterious helper inside the orb factory that grabs Crunch's explosives and throws them into the orb chamber is Steve Kenlow. He's also the person that Radia sees out of the corner of her eye when the team first arrives in Brazil. VezonWireless writes:  You know, it's rather interesting. Despite apparently having no basis in LEGO canon (the only time they have been voiced is in the PC game, where they are given deep "dumb brute"-esque voices), it seems that Ogel Drones always have high-pitched and/or nasally voices in Alpha Team brickfilms, i
